About Us

Sage Haven Eastern Medicine is a women-owned holistic wellness center in San Diego, created to be a space where women feel deeply supported, cared for, and truly transformed in their health.

We specialize in women’s health, hormones, gut health, stress resilience, and holistic aesthetics, blending the wisdom of Chinese medicine with modern, integrative care. Our clients come to us when they’re ready for real answers and lasting change, and we take that responsibility seriously.

We’ve built something really special here.

We’re a team of passionate, driven women who care deeply about our work, our clients, and each other. We hold a high standard, communicate openly, and show up for one another every day. There’s a shared sense of pride in what we’re creating and in the level of care we deliver.

We’ve grown from a solo practice into a team of 8, and many of our clients have been with us for years, which speaks to the level of care and consistency we’ve built. We’re looking for someone who wants to be part of something long-term, not just fill a schedule.

The Role

This role begins as a part-time, in-person position, with a clear path to full-time as you build your schedule through strong client retention and consistent care.

You’ll step into an established and growing patient base, with immediate opportunity to take on an active schedule as our founder transitions into maternity leave. Our systems, front desk support, and marketing engine are designed to keep your schedule full, so you can focus on delivering excellent care and building lasting client relationships.

Our clinic operates on a consistent treatment rhythm, so efficiency, confidence in your clinical approach, and strong communication skills are essential. Many of our clients are navigating complex, often emotional health challenges, and your ability to build trust and guide them through care is a key part of this role.

Providers are typically seeing between 25 to 40 clients per week and are supported in building a full, consistent schedule through retention-focused care and clear treatment planning.

We are a high-demand clinic, and our providers are supported in getting busy quickly and maintaining a full, consistent schedule.

Requirements

  • California Acupuncture license

  • Doctorate Degree in Chinese Medicine preferred

  • Strong foundation in Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture, herbal medicine, and holistic health

  • Interest or clinical focus in women’s health, fertility, gut health, pain management, stress resilience, and holistic aesthetics

  • Warm, confident communication style with the ability to build trust quickly

  • Comfort educating clients on treatment plans, visit frequency, packages, and long-term care

  • Ability to stay organized, chart efficiently, and maintain strong clinic flow

  • Reliable, punctual, team-oriented, and open to feedback

  • Desire to continue learning, growing, and contributing to a high-standard clinical team

Schedule

  • Tuesday 8:30am-2pm

  • Wednesday 1:30pm-7pm

  • Thursday 1pm-7pm (team meeting from 1-2pm)

  • Friday 8:30am-2pm

  • Saturday 8:30am-3pm

Compensation & Growth

This is a W2 position with a combination of per-patient compensation and hourly pay for administrative time.

Associates working a full schedule typically earn between $5,000 to $8,500 per month depending on retention, rebooking, and overall schedule consistency. Full-time earnings generally range from $60,000 to $100,000+ annually based on schedule and patient retention.

Our compensation model is designed to reward consistency, strong clinical care, and the ability to build long-term client relationships.

You’ll begin with a 90-day introductory period with clear performance expectations and support, followed by ongoing growth opportunities within the company.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • A strong marketing and retention system designed to support full schedules
